Powwow is a cool tool put out by Qwest that is an instant buddy conference call center.
Powwow let's you put in a call list of a certain group of friends and then it gives you one number to dial. Dial that number and than Powwow dials all the friends associated with that number and places them all in a conference call.
it is really good if you want to coordinate something, have quick meetings, something major happened (I can see a political campaign using it) and you need a quick response, or for teenagers.
My brother, Jonathan Hoffman (a Qwest employee) introduced me to the service.
For now, Powwow is in beta so it is free.
